• Grip the hook with the open part of the crimp facing externally by use of plier
• Insert the open part of crimp into orthodontic archwire while moving plier
• Apply force to the plier for squeezing the crimpable part
• Remove the plier from the crimpable hook
• You can cut into the proper length of hook with a cutter
